By Car-

Take a direct bus, which takes about 5 hours, from Bangalore to Sakleshpur. About 2 kilometres from the city centre, Sakleshpur bus station is reachable by bus, cab, or auto-rickshaw. ideal for young people, backpackers, and independent travellers. There are 10 direct buses from Bangalore to Sakleshpur. These buses are Subramanya Tours And Travels, Kukkeshree Travels, Canara Travels, Green Line Travels And Holidays, Nagashree Travels, Cauvery Travels, etc. The minimum time taken by a bus from Bangalore is 4h 55m.

 

Road Condition 

220 kilometres from Bangalore to Sakleshpur may be travelled in comfort in 3 1/2 hours by a nice sedan. The recent rains haven't had a big impact on the roadways yet. The roads are absolutely fine. If you are not aware, almost halfway through is a 4-lane express toll way till Channarayapatna. And then the continuation also is in good condition.

From Bangalore to Mangalore, this road is a National Highway road. From Bangalore, which is 180 km away, you may comfortably drive to Hassan in 2 hours and 30 minutes. According to the volume of traffic on a particular day at a given hour, it would take you 60 to 80 minutes to go from Hassan to Sakleshpur (45 kilometres). You can go from Bangalore to Sakleshpur for about 4.5 hours overall.

 

Bangalore to Sakleshpur By Train

Direct trains are available from Bangalore to Sakleshpur. This journey takes around 5 hours. The Sakleshpur city centre is around 5 km from Sakleshpur railway station and can be reached by auto-rickshaw, rickshaw or bus. Ideal for families, seniors and groups. There is a direct train departing from Ksr Bengaluru and arriving at Sakleshpur. Services depart once daily and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 4h 15m. Some of the other trains that operate between Bangalore and Sakleshpur include KARWAR EXP, YPR MAQ EXP. The first train on this route is GOMATESHWARA2 EXP which leaves Bangalore at 07:10 am, and the last train from Bangalore to Sakleshpur is KARWAR EXP which leaves Bangalore at 20:30 pm.
